Affiliate and Health Care Organizations provide acute, long term care, addiction and hospice services throughout the province. Affiliates would like to formally recognize and thank staff and physicians for your efforts through the COVID19 pandemic. You are the unsung heroes for many thousands of residents and patients and their families.
At the very core of our humanity is our care for one another. From the get-go you and your co-workers have gone above and beyond the call of duty in the safe care and support of our Residents/Elders, Patients. You are on the front lines. During the pandemic you have been caring for our Residents, Elders, Patients, you have been comforting them, and you have been their family whenever you can. As we approach what we hope is the end of this pandemic and as we transition into a new reality, we owe each and every one of you a debt of gratitude! We can never thank you enough.
You and your families have unselfishly put your lives on hold to follow the Public Health Orders, the SHA guidelines and directions and your respective facility policies to ensure you protected Residents/Elders, Patients, their families, and your co-workers and colleagues.
